Cherry Ripe當早餐前菜的早晨我思念Matchbox Twenty和流逝的歲月

今天早上上班之前沒有在家吃早飯(平常媽都有煮早飯的習慣﹐我們是一群健康的小孩﹐low salt low sugar no trans & saturated fat organic food o___o)﹐因為會和老闆和以前合作過project的電視節目製作人吃飯餞行﹐因為她要到Sydney繼續深造了。習慣了吃早飯﹐所以開車去的路上肚子好餓。於是把口袋裡的零食拿出來吃了。那是以前在澳洲唸書的時候最喜歡吃的chocolate bar叫Cherry Ripe。櫻桃和椰絲混合a hint of 蘭姆酒(這是據說)﹐dark chocolate coated的巧克力。妹妹從新加坡公干回來之前在機場買的。新加坡有賣！！下次叫她買十大包回來。真的很好吃啊好懷念的味道﹐上一次吃已經是1年前的事了﹐吃著的時候我想起了以前唸書的時候在上課的時候吃﹐在預備考試的時候在圖書館吃﹐在冬天冷洌空氣裡偎著暖爐吃﹐夏天的時候走在人潮擁擠的St Kilda Beach吃。吃著的時候電臺忽然播了大學時代的歌Matchbox Twenty的《Unwell》。Rob Thomas的聲音還是那樣的讓人顫栗。好懷念啊！我忍不住又放肆的懷念起一切。

Sorry guys i'm back, finally!!! I know... what a shame i've left my blog abandoned for nearly 2 months. I've been quite busy, and it's been a bit of chaotic for the past few weeks i've been juggling few issues at the same time, works, family, friends, me myself. I did actually write up something in between the busy moments but never got the chances to post 'em up here and always I told myself i'm so gonna do it asap but in the end it turned out to be a viscious cycle, the more it's been draggy the less interest i am in doing it. DAMN!
Okay anyway here I am. still busy, packed schedule for this week works bit overwhelming. Since this post is gonna be a short one I would like to post a MV of a band from Salford, UK which i'm so zaelous about currently. It’s The Ting Tings!!! I’ve been contributing articles for 《學海》magazine and here is one of them which I wrote about this kewwllll band. Katie White is SOOOO HAWT!!!!



恨我不在曼徹斯特﹐而且和足球無關

想像一首歌﹐歌詞是這樣的﹐到底是進腦還是惱人呢？

“Imagine all the girls, Ah ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah.

進腦！而且我聽了後說：“喔耶！！！超好聽！”。只怪那天晚上寫歌寫到沒有靈感的時候開始無聊的玩Facebook﹐同樣是音樂愛好者的朋友從msn寄來一個youtube的link﹐叫我看MV。結果一發不可收拾。

歌名是《Great DJ》﹐MV是一個男生和女生﹐不停變幻的螢光色的背景﹐伸手伸腳跳奇怪的舞步﹐歌真的是超級catchy。女生唱歌﹐男生打鼓合音﹐樣子是典型的英國7年級生﹐親切又很酷。他們是來自英國Manchester市隔壁的Salford市的二人樂團The Ting Tings！成員就是女生Katie White和男生Jules De Martino。

據說名字的靈感來自白小姐(我給Katie White的匿稱)以前在服裝店打工時的中國人同事的名字(我猜是婷婷吧)﹐婷婷也說ting ting在中文是亭子的意思(我猜是亭亭吧)。白小姐說他們很喜歡這個名字﹐而且感覺就像有了新的idea的時候﹐“Ting”一聲一樣有一個大燈泡在頭上。所以男生和女生兩個人加起來就是兩個“Ting！”

專輯《We Started Nothing》根本就是一場轟趴。在家裡開大型派對時候播放這張專輯﹐想像Martino在搭好的舞台上﹐一貫的戴著超大的Ray Ban墨鏡打鼓彈吉他﹐White像旁若無人的扭曲肢體和唱歌(或者講話)﹐一定超級high！ 開場就encore一樣熱鬧的大合唱著《Great DJ》﹔然後到還有一上榜就拿下英國排行榜冠軍的《That’s Not My Name》大家一起鼓掌一起叫﹔到4月的Ipod廣告當廣告歌曲的《Shut Up and Let Me Go》的時候大家已經把家裡當成演唱會地點一樣﹐跟著鼓點點頭﹐對著guitar riffs上癮﹐隨著仿80年代的new wave pads起舞。據說The Ting Tings在成名前就已經是Manchester市內最紅的私人派對裡的點名樂團。

Arghhh恨我不在曼徹斯特﹐而且和足球無關。派對最後我要聽《Be The One》﹐大家在派對完畢回家之前已經沉沉入睡。
